Recently a friend of mine and fellow DJ, Sanjay released a CD titled “A New Day”. It was filled with wonderful sounds that were way off from the Hip-Hop / Electro drone that has seemed to be overtaking the world lately. After listening to the CD it inspired me to record the following mix. Why did I title it Ibiza Pop? Not sure really, it just seemed appropriate. Its a great mix to listen to on those moon filled, summer night drives up the coast, late night Vegas runs blasting through the desert, or just coming home from your local bars. It’s very different than what I normally record and I went way out of my realm on this one, but I needed a break from the same old monotonous club stuff, and as we all know, sometimes change is nice thing.
