If you have been reading my posts about Coachella, you know that I will be making history by playing the FIRST EVER Silent Disco held at Coachella Music Festival. What exactly is a Silent Disco you ask? According to the Wikipedia, a silent disco is a disco party without traditional speaker system, instead relying on the use of wireless headphones and an FM transmitter to deliver the music to participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to no tune.
When asked to play the Silent Disco I was very hesitant at first seeing as it sounded like a very wacky idea and usually when event organizers come out with wacky ideas they generally don’t turn out to well. However after watching a couple of videos about the Silent Disco and past Silent Discos (See Below), I decided to become a part of this history making idea. Although Silent Disco parties have been popping up all over Europe and Asia for years, t his will be the first Silent Disco ever held at Coachella. So, if you want to check out something different and be a part of Coachella history, make sure you make your way to the Heineken Dome and join me as well as other GREAT DJs for the Silent Disco.
NOTE: I have included the Heineken Dome Artist Schedule for all three days below also.
